Description

The Senior Planning & Scheduling Engineer shall have overall responsibility for project scheduling, and his engineering functions shall be combined with this responsibility, which shall include preparation and updating of schedules, monitoring progress and arriving at important conclusions for the Project Manager, who will convert these into executive decisions. He shall be responsible for establishing detailed planning & scheduling on a resource driven basis such that time constraints, milestones and estimated man-hours are satisfied. Detailed manpower and equipment histograms are developed for the whole project and used to ensure that all required resources are made available on time for the various project phases. Progress "S" curves created and populated to include all the project schedule’s activities Candidates should fit the following minimum criteria’s. 1. He should have a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. 2. Minimum of 10 years experience in Planning & Scheduling with a reputable contracting company not consultancy or project management company. 3. Candidate should be computer literate and conversant with the following programs : Primavera Project Planner P3, P5 and P6 (optional as a plus) for Windows• (very important). Microsoft Project• F.H. Update Rev. 1.01• 4. He should be conversant in preparing the following reports. Preparation of Plan and Resource.• Preparation of monthly manpower requirement at site.• Preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports• Preparation of requirement of construction equipment, materials, consumable• etc. Issuance of 3 weeks targets to Construction Manager.• Issuance of 3 weeks rolling schedules• Preparation of revenue/cost forecast, using Primavera.• Preparation of monthly cash requirement at site.• Daily report generation for Head Office• & Client
